Hello everyone!
Today would be the last day of year of 2008.And lets give a toast to year 2009! We will be going our separate ways now. We will not be 1 Belianer's anymore. But, we will be former 1 Belianer's.
Yesterday, 30th December, was the day we all check which class we are setting our foot on. It is on the bulletin board in front of bilik guru sesi pagi. You better check what class you are in, or else there will be a confusion beginning of school.

Dear Diary,
We hope to have fun the whole year without having exams. Can you see that smile on the dolphins? They are happy. The raya holidays has arrived. It's fun time! Keeping the books away, going somewhere which I could explore. I would wish to see the sand on the beach. The dolphins are swimming freely in the ocean.

I have something to say to you, diary. Do you noe why the dolphins are dying?

Dolphins are sometimes hit by boats and their propellers.
Nets meant for catching fish, can also trap dolphins who can't breath under water like fish can. Dolphins need to swim to the surface to get air. So if they get caught in a net and can't get free in time, they drown.
Noise from boats, even jet skis can harm dolphins. Dolphins find their way around through the water by making a sound and waiting for it to bounce back, a bit like an echo. So boat noise in the water can be confusing and disorientating and dolphins can get lost and separated from their group.
Chemicals, plastic bottles and other harmful rubbish are finding their way into our waters and then into our animals. This can make them sick and even die, particularly new born dolphins.

Dear diary, I hope you understand the importance of nature in the underwater world.

Pls pray for the persecuted Christians in Orissa , India . For more info., pls check thru’ the internet. GB

May i request us to spend time to pray for the believers in Orissa , India . The situation is worsened as I send this out. Urgent intercession. Let's pray for the persecuted Christians of Orissa , India . Psalm 119 : 86 All your commands are trustworthy; help me, for men persecute me without cause. They almost wiped me from the earth, but I have not forsaken your precepts. We received this letter from a pastor in India . He writes: We have never seen anything like this. We knew that Orissa was the most resistant and hostile State in India as far as the Gospel is concerned. And we brushed off the continuous threats and harassment we faced as we went about His work. But none of our staff imagined that they would see this kind of carnage.... And it seems to be totally under the radar of the Western Media .... Let me explain.... A militant Hindu priest and 4 of his attendants, who were zealously going around the villages of Orissa and 'reconverting' people back to Hinduism, were gunned down by unknown assailants in Central Orissa last weekend. Immediately the Christians were blamed. The cry rose up...'Kill the Christians!' And the horror began.... In the past 4 days, we have first hand witness to hundreds of churches being blown up or burned and many, many dozens of Christian tribals have been slaughtered. For no other reason than they bear the name of Christ. Night and day I have been in touch with our Good News India Directors spread across 14 Dream Centers in Orissa... they are right in the middle of all this chaos. In Tihidi, just after the police came to offer protection, a group of 70 blood-thirsty militants came to kill our staff and destroy the home. They were not allowed to get in, but they did a lot of damage to our Dream Centre by throwing rocks and bricks and smashing our gate, etc. They have promised to come back and 'finish the job.' Our kids and staff are locked inside and have stayed that way with doors and windows shut for the past 3 days. It has been a time of desperately calling on the Lord in prayer. More police have come to offer protection. In Kalahandi, the police and some local sympathizers got to our dream centre and gave our staff and kids about 3 minutes notice to vacate. No one had time to even grab a change of clothes or any personal belonging. As they fled, the blood thirsty mob came to kill everyone in the building. We would have had a mass funeral there, but for His grace. In Phulbani, the mob came looking for Christian homes and missions. The local Hindu people, our neighbors turned them away by saying that there were no Christians in this area. So they left. We had favor. The same thing happened in Balasore. All our dream centres are under lock down with the kids and staff huddled inside and police outside. The fanatics are circling outside waiting for a chance to kill. Others were not so fortunate. In a nearby Catholic orphanage, the mob allowed the kids to leave and locked up a Priest and a computer teacher in a house and burned them to death. Many believers have been killed and hacked into pieces and left on the road.... even women and children. At another orphanage run by another organization, when this began, the Director and his wife jumped on their motorbike and simply fled, leaving all the children and staff behind. Every one of our GNI directors that I have spoken to said: 'We stay with our kids.... we live together or die together, but we will never abandon what God has called us to do.' More than 5000 Christian families have had their homes burned or destroyed. They have fled into the jungles and are living in great fear waiting for the authorities to bring about peace. But so far, no peace is foreseen. This will continue for another 10 days..... supposedly the 14 day mourning period for the slain Hindu priest. Many more Christians will die and their houses destroyed. Many more churches will be mashed down. The Federal government is trying to restore order and perhaps things will calm down. We ask for your prayers. Only the Hand of God can calm this storm. None of us know the meaning of persecution. But now our kids and staff know what that means. So many of our kids coming from Hindu backgrounds are confused and totally bewildered at what is happening around them. So many of their guardians have fled into the jungles and are unable to come and get them during these trying times. Through all this, I am more determined than ever to continue with our goal: the transformation of a community by transforming its children. Orissa will be saved... that is our heart's cry. If we can take these thousands of throw away children and help them to become disciples of Jesus, they will be transforming an entire region. It is a long term goal, but it is strategic thinking in terms of the Great Commission. What can you do? First, please uphold all this in fervent prayer. Second, pass this e-mail on to as many friends as you can. We must get the word out and increase our prayer base for this is spiritual warfare at its most basic meaning. We are literally fighting the devil in order to live for His Kingdom. The next 10 days are crucial. We pray for peace and calm to pervade across Orissa. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Please pass it on and help us to get as many people to partner with us on this cutting edge effort to fulfill His mandate: Go and make disciples of all nations....

I'm not very happy about some thing.It's about the flags 1 Belian has bought and we can't have it back. I strongly disagree with the act of 5 Belian, who are our seniors. They took down all our hard work, sweat, time and money without asking first and what's more? They did not return the flags we bought, I mean the flags all of us contributed.

The flags cost us quite a lot of money. The second thing, why are all of you such a disappointment to me? You are in 1 Belian, and you cannot even contribute A CLOTH. You don't even care. If you don't, you do not deserve to be a part of 1 Belian. None of you all can bring an old cloth. You seriously pissed me off.

It's not easy being a leader or a monitor. It is not as easy as you think. You don't appreciate my hard work, Stephanie's hard work, Sam's......... You DON"T. If you think you are able to help out, be a little more supporting. I could choose to seat at my own place, talk to others, but I don't and I can't. The class has been very noisy, uncontrollable. You people, are just bringing SHAME to all of us. Can't you just keep your mouths shut? Will you even die if you are unable to talk for a short while? As you all know, it's CElebration MERDEKA today, which is Friday and so we're gonna sit in the dewan and maybe see shows and stuff for the last 3 periods. HAppy?? ANd cause of Merdeka, on monday is HOLIDAY...it's also 1st september on that day and guess who's b-day that is??
No one else than PUI LI!!!! So wish her okay and on TUesday school starts from12.35-5.30 cause it's puasa. So don't bully those who puasa!!! SMILE :) :) :) :) :) :).....

Do you like 1 Belian's class decorations? Well, if you ask me, I will definitely give you a YES. Flags swinging all over, looking so cheerful and respectful for Merdeka Day. After 51 yeras of independence, we still unite as a country. Anyway, the cost of decorations are costing us a big one. So, take care and appreciate what we have all decorated eventhough you dislike it. As a part of 1 Belian, you should be proud and not vandalise your class's decor.

ICTL classes for tomorrow has been canceled. Don't you think it's a little confusing? There are classes sometimes, non at all sometimes, we are all in confusion, without being informed sometimes. It is a chance for children to learn some new skills, but with computers which are always lagging, out of order and not scanned (Which also means there are viruses in it). Suitable environment huh?
